KYVE [kaɪv from english "archive"] is a decentralised Cryptoprotocol, which archives data from blockchains to Arweave. To validate the data KYVE uses nodes, that upload and validate data. The goal of KYVE is to archive blockchain-data secure and efficient.[1]
The founders of KYVE are Fabian Riewe and John Letey. The developers founded the company in February 2021 with base in Germany.
History[edit]
After foundation in February 2021 the company raised 3.87 million US-dollars with two investment rounds from venture capitalists like Permanent Ventures, Hypersphere, Coinbase Ventures und Mechanism Capital.[2]
The project is technically and financially supported by several blockchains for example Solana, Avalanche, Near, Cosmos and Arweave.[3]
In summer 2021 the testnet was launched with more than tenthousand users participating in development process until now.
