Kait Ballenger is an American author[1][2] known for her Seven Range Shifters and Execution Underground paranormal romance series.

Career[edit]

In 2013, Ballenger's first novel for the "Execution Underground" series, Twilight Hunter, earned her a coveted Starred Review by "Publisher's Weekly". [3] She followed "Twilight Hunter" with the sequels "Immortal Hunter" [4] and "Midnight Hunter."[5] In 2013, Ballenger collaborated with New York Times and USA Today Best Selling American author Gena Showalter in the anthology "After Dark," where she published "Shadow Hunter," a prequel novella set in the "Execution Underground" universe. [6] The aforementioned books were published by the Harlequin Enterprises imprint "HQN".

In 2017, Ballenger signed a new contract with Sourcebooks for a series with the romance imprint "Sourcebooks Casablanca." "Cowboy Wolf Trouble,"[7] the first entry in her western paranormal romance series "The Seven Range Shifters", was published in 2019 and was met with positive reviews. Ballenger followed this up with the sequels "Cowboy in Wolf's Clothing" in 2019 [8], "Wicked Cowboy Wolf" in 2020,[9] and the upcoming "Cowboy Wolf Legend," due to be released in 2021. [10] According to her official website, the series is expected to extend to at least books five and six, though release dates have not yet been confirmed.[11]
