Kalat Division or Qalat Division (Urdu: دوسوں کلات) is in Balochistan, Pakistan. Its capital city is Khuzdar founded on the 14th of October in 1955. It is the only Irrigation & Agricultural Division of Balochistan province. The division connects Balochistan with Sindh. Population is sparse, the Brahui and Baloch peoples being the predominant ethnic groups. The mysterious, nomadic aura to it. The impervious mien of Kalat Fort (also known as Meeri Fort) has attracted many tourists in the past. The Fort located in Turbat is 5,000 years old and many historians deem it to have been home to a King.
