Kaley Sinhala: කැලේ [Forest] is a Sri Lankan artisan tea brand founded in 2019. It is a member of Ceylon Artisan Tea Collective (CATA).[1] Kaley teas are hand-picked from a single garden in Kotapola, withered naturally and hand-rolled.[2]

The product range includes a variety of artisan teas: black tea, green tea, white tea and spice tea.[3]

Sustainable tea[edit]

Kaley natural farm is an approved vendor of the Good Market and is recognized for sustainable farming practices. The diversity of the 50-acre farm is increased by other crops; cinnamon, pepper and other spices, herbs and fruit that blend with the primary cultivation of tea. Animals who graze freely enable the making of compost, liquid fertilizer and bio-gas.[4]

It is a social enterprise aiming to uplift the rural community surrounding the tea garden.
