Kaloya clan
Kaloya is a type of Jat/Jat family. Kaloyas are Chadharies because they have wealth. They mainly live in Hoshiarpur district. There is a village named Kaloya, 25 km from Hoshiarpur in Punjab. This is the native village of this gotra. There is another village named Rajpalwan, which is situated in Hoshiarpur district, where people from the Kaloya clan reside. Some people of this gotra live in Mahilpur and also in the nearby village Jandoli. There is also another village named Kaloya in district Una (Himachal Pradesh). Another village named Kaloaa is also present in Sialkot, Pakistan. It is named because of people of the Kaloya clan living there.
