Kanan Faysal (born 13 July 2003) is a Bangladeshi youth leader, mental health advocate, and social worker. He is best known as the Chief Coordinator of Talk Hope, a youth-led initiative dedicated to mental health support and suicide prevention in Bangladesh.[1]
He is also the Director of SHADOW (Society for Humanity Development Over the World), and was elected President (2024–25) of the Rotaract Club of Dhaka Orchid. He previously served as President (2023–24) of the Leo Club of Dhaka Dynamic One.[2]
Early life and education
Faysal was born on 13 July 2003 in Bandar Upazila, Narayanganj District, Bangladesh. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering at Uttara University, Dhaka.
Career
Kanan Faysal’s primary work revolves around Talk Hope, an initiative that provides free mental health awareness campaigns, suicide prevention programs, and online counseling services. The platform has reached over 30,000 young people through campus-based events and digital platforms.[3]
