Kaone Kario is a famous actress and model known for winning the title of Nokia face of Africa in 2005.[2]
Early life
Born in 1986, Kaone Kario participated in the Nokia face of Africa competition in 2005. She won the contest, becoming the first Motswana to win the Nokia face of Africa. She is popular for acting in the television show Ayeye season 1, as Leano.[1] At 19, she planned to study Medicine at the University of Botswana School of Medicine, but changed her plans after winning the Nokia competition. Kaone followed in the footsteps of Mpule Kwelagobe, who was crowned Miss Universe at age 19 in 1999.[[citation needed]]
Education
Kaone Kario studied television and film production techniques in Cape Town, South Africa, at age 24. She has long been interested in business.[3]
