Karandeep Singh Sehmbi popularly known as Karan Sehmbi is an Indian singer, actor, songwriter associated with Punjabi music industry. He is best known for his songs: Photo, Jack n Jill, Raani, Sajte Ho and Possessive. Sehmbi's song Raani was nominated as the Most Romantic Song of the year at PTC Punjabi Music Awards 2018.[1][2] [3]

Career[edit]

Sehmbi developed his interest in singing and acting since he was 10 years old. He started his career as a singer in 2013 with his first Punjabi music album Shortlisted. He was one of the finalists on a reality show Voice Of Punjab Chhota Champ 2 on PTC Punjabi.[4] Sehmbi's musical career grew very quickly after his song Photo released in 2016 on T Series label was recreated for the Bollywood Hindi movie Luka Chuppi starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon in 2019.[5] In 2019, Sehmbi performed in the reality show Voice Of Punjab Chhota Champ 6.[6]
