Karate1 Series A
The Karate1 Series A is a series of international karate competitions organized by the World Karate Federation (WKF), launched in 2017 as part of its global Karate1 competition structure. The series was introduced to expand international participation in the sport and to provide athletes with opportunities to earn points toward the WKF World Ranking. Positioned as a secondary tier to the Karate1 Premier League, the tournaments are held in various cities worldwide and feature events in both kumite (sparring) and kata (forms) across multiple weight categories and divisions.[1]
