Karen Nikitha Harris (born 2006) is an Indian playback singer. In 2019, she recorded her first song Vinnil Vinmeen Aayiram (Thousands of stars in the sky) for the film Kaappaan when she was 12 years old.[1]
Biography
Nikitha Harris is the daughter of Tamil film music composer Harris Jayaraj and Suma Harris. She made her debut performance under her father's composition for the movie Kaappaan, and received her first award from V4U Media's sensational debut award.[2]
Nikitha developed an interest in singing from her childhood, as music was all around her through her father's compositions.[3] She began learning Carnatic music at the age of ten and is studying at MCTM Chidambaram Chettyar International IB School. Apart from music, her ambition is to become a Doctor.
