Kartikeya Gummakonda (born 21 Sep 1993), is an Indian film actor who appears in South Indian Telugu films.[1]. Originating from Telangana, he’s graduated from National Institute of Technology, Warangal. Starting off with a few famed short films, he debuted with “Prematho Mee Karthik” in 2016 which was later released in 2017. Though the movie received mixed responses, he continued his journey with RX 100 in the direction of Ajay Bhupati. Bagging a huge response with raving positive reviews, movie went out to be a Blockbuster Hit at the box office. Receiving all praises for his performance from all over the industry, he’s been the talk of the T-town since then[2][3]

Graduating from National Institute of Technology, Warangal, he later chose to pursue his career in Acting.[4]
Career[edit]
Kartikeya debuted into films with Prematho Mee Karthik in 2017 that received a mere response from TFI. But his second movie RX 100 directed by debutant Ajay Bhupathi (Associate of Ram Gopal Varma) garnered raving responses from all the industries, especially for his entangling performance and the bold love story that’s projected at the rawest possibilities. Bagging a humongous hit, Kartikeya was flooded with many scripts and opportunities to be in the list of his upcoming projects. Later in the process, Kollywood fame director TN Krishnan (Sillunu Oru Kaadhal fame) approached Kartikeya for his debut Telugu film, a new-age romantic entertainer titled as Hippi[5] While the shoot commenced on 9th November 2018 the movie released on June 6th. Scoring mixed reviews with a blunt response from audience movie went out to be a mediocre hit at the box office.[6]. However, his ongoing and upcoming projects include ‘Guna 369’ where he plays the lead [7] and seen playing the antagonist in Natural Star Nani’s 'Gang Leader'.
==Kartikeya Gummakonda Early life & Career// Karthikeya studied in NIT warangal and he is basically from Hyderabad. His father owns a school so Karthikeya studied in the same school and cracked AIEEE. Karthikeya used to be very active in all cultural activities. After completion of his study, he took the acting course for 8 months and made his movie debut. Young hero Karthikeya whose latest film ‘RX 100’ is making waves at the box office as it recovered its Rs 2.5 crore in two days and racing to become one of the top blockbusters in recent times. Actually, producer Ashok Reddy, who is the father of Karthikeya, made a small budget film ‘Itlu Prema...’ some time ago and reportedly lost Rs 4.5 crore.
