Karthikeyan Velu (born 26 April 1990, known as Karty / Karthikeyan (screen name)[1][2]) is a Tamil actor and dancer who works in the Tamil film industry. He is the son of Mr. M. Velu, who was also a writer in Kumudam, Ananda Vikatan, Dinamalar-Varamalar [3] and several other Tamil magazines. Karty started his acting career at the age of 21. Before acting in feature films, he made several short movies.
Early life
Karthikeyan was born on 26 April 1990 to Mr. Velu and Annakkili. Karty went on to do his Computer Science Engineering at SNS College of Technology, Coimbatore and graduated in 2011.
He started his own firm, Karty Computer Solutions, in 2011 and closed it in 2012. Later, he joined Mahindra Satyam as an Associate Engineer and left the job for his passion for movies.
