Katarina Janikova, better known by her shortened name Dr. Kate Janik is a Slovakia-born Greek entrepreneur and author. She co-authored the Amazon-best-selling book The Prosperity Factor with American author Joe Vitale.[1][2]She also authored The True Story of the Spiritual Awakening of Lord Ganesha.[3][4] Janik is currently the CEO of J. K. Luxury European Products.[5]
Early life[edit]
Janik was born in Slovakia. As a child, she developed an interest in Buddhist philosophy despite the culture not existing then in her country. Janik acquired a degree in English literature from Cambridge University, United Kingdom. Subsequently she acquired her post-graduate degree and Phd from Slovakian universities before acquiring an additional post-graduate degree in Victorian Literature from Harvard University, U.S.A.[6]
Career[edit]
Janik moved to Corfu, Greece in the year 2000. After sixteen years in the tourism industry, Janik switched to Cyber security, representing technology companies from Switzerland, Taiwan and Mexico, being early advocate of blockchain technology.[7] In her interview with Passion Vista magazine, she revealed about having faced foul competition in the tourism industry and gender discrimination in the technology industry, when quizzed about dabbling different careers.
In 2017, she founded the health and cosmetics company J. K. European Luxury Products. In the 2010s, Dr. Janik co-authored the book The Prosperity Factor with American spiritualist author Joe Vitale which eventually became a best-seller on Amazon.com.[8]
