Kate McWilliams is a British female pilot with the rank of captain briefly known as the world's youngest commercial airline captain.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]Although this was not actually true, since there have been many other commercial captains around the world who got their command when they were younger (including women). [8][9][10][11]
McWilliams, aged 13, joined and began flying in the air cadets. In 2011, she joined EasyJet and became a first officer. In 2016, aged 26, she took up the rank of captain.[12][1][2][3][4][5][6]
McWilliams flies Airbus A319 and A320 planes to over 100 destinations, across Europe, North Africa and Israel.[12][2][7]
