Roles Performed

and more.[6]

"In the role of La Sylphide, Ekaterina Alaieva amazes with the fragility of an unattainable ideal and the ability to detach herself from her surroundings. For all the fantasy and fairy-tale character, the ballerina brings a special poetic truth to the audience, which, along with the high performance technique, attracts the sympathy of the audience"

— Larisa Tarasenko, http://timeout.ua/text/show/41094/

"The white "swan" plastic of Odetta-Alaieva is imbued with cantilena rotations, the poetry of arabesques. And as the antipode of good - black swan of evil Odilia. Each ballerina interprets the dialectic of these two images in her own way. Ekaterina Alaieva sees it as an irreconcilable conflict and a combination of life's black and white sides. Her Odilia amazes with the charm of her narcissism. And it becomes clear why the whirlwind created by the swift fouettés and pirouettes of the black swan fascinated Siegfried so much..."
