Katherine Sabbath is a baker and cookbook author who lives in Sydney, Australia. She was born on 8 December 1986 in Wollongong and moved to Sydney in her 20s.[1] Sabbath was a high school teacher before she became a "cake creative".[2]

Books[edit]

Sabbath self-published her first book, a pop-up art book, Katherine Sabbath – Greatest Hits – The Pop Edition. Her second book, Bake Australia Great was published in 2019.[3]

Television appearance[edit]

Sabbath was invited to appear on MasterChef Australia in 2018 as a guest judge during "Sweet Week".[4] Contestants were challenged to recreate her "Birthday Cake", a brightly coloured vanilla cake with Swiss meringue buttercream.
