Katrina Ann Tan[1][2] is a Filipina artist, born on 27 February 1985. An alumnus of College of Fine Arts and Design[3] majoring in Painting in University of Santo Tomas. She is also an illustrator of a children’s book. With her outstanding style and the use of irregular shape canvases at an early age, she was able to have a one-woman show and managed to have exhibitions outside of her mother country.
Biography
Katrina Ann Tan[1] is a Filipina artist, born on 27 February 1985. A summa cum laude graduate and an alumnus of University of Santo Tomas in Sampaloc, Manila, Philippines, she took up a degree in fine arts majoring in Painting in College of Fine Arts and Design in UST. She is also an illustrator of a children’s book. With her outstanding artwork because of her style, and the use of irregular shape canvases[4] at an early age, she was able to have a one-woman show and managed to have exhibitions outside of her mother country.
Educational background
She spent her high school days at (JASMS) Jose Abad Santos Memorial School in quezon city, and in her college years, she took up College of Fine Arts and Design majoring in painting. She was a scholar and a Dean's Lister. She graduated as a summa cum laude.
