Kathleen Jean Brinson, credited as Katy Brinson, is an Australian actress, remembered for her roles in television soap operas. Her performing career began as a ballet dancer in the 1970s and she played the princess in the children's pantomime The Little Tin Soldier in 1976,[1] for which one reviewer noted that "Katy Brinson, as the ballerina, needs to project her tiny voice over the inevitable rustle of excited children".[2] Brinson then moved to Sydney to attend the National Institute of Dramatic Art.
She played Judy Sutton in The Young Doctors, Jill Clark in Prisoner and Wendy Armstrong in Sons and Daughters. She had a recurring role as public defender Lisa Blake in the legal drama Rafferty's Rules.
TV credits include: A Country Practice, The Flying Doctors and Blue Heelers.
