Kaung Myat Thu (born 28 February 1999) is a Burmese professional footballer who plays as a striker for Shan United. He played his first international match and first international goal against Kasuka FC for ASEAN Club Championship.
Club career
Ayeyawady United
Kaung Myat Thu is a product of the Ayeyawady United youth team. He became a goal machine for Ayeyawady United’s senior team.
Young Elephants
In 2023, he transferred to the Laos Club, Young Elephants FC[2] and won the Laos League Title Championship.[3]
Mahar United
After that, he moved again to Myanmar National League Club, Mahar United.
Shan United
At the end of the 2023 season, Shan United signed him on a free transfer. In July 2024, he scored his first international goal against Kasuka FC for ASEAN Club Championship. [4]
