Kay Palacios is a Democratic politician. Along with Guillermo Linares, she was the first Dominican as well as the first woman of Dominican ancestry ever elected to public office in the United States.[1]

Career[edit]

In 1991, Palacios was elected to the Engelwood City Council in New Jersey.[2]
