Anastagia Pierre Friel (born October 5, 1988 in Miami)[citation needed] is an American-Bahamian TV Host and beauty pageant titleholder who has competed in the Miss Teen USA, Miss USA and Miss Universe beauty pageants.
Early life[edit]
In 2012, Pierre graduated from Nova Southeastern University in Florida with a bachelor's degree in communication studies.[2][3]
Pageantry[edit]
Friel won the Miss Florida Teen USA 2004 title in October 2003 and represented Florida at the Miss Teen USA 2004 pageant. Five years later she was the second African American woman to win the Miss Florida USA title and competed at Miss USA 2009. She later represented The Bahamas at Miss Intercontinental 2010, where she placed 2nd runner-up, and at Miss Universe 2011, where she was unplaced.[4]
Career[edit]
Friel has previously appeared as a host on NBC Miami and has modelled for leading designers such as Chloe, Betsey Johnson, and Christian Audigier.[citation needed]
