Kayode Michael Fayehun (born 23 September 1993) better known by his stage name as KAYDEX is a Nigerian singer and songwriter originally from Ondo State, Nigeria. He currently resides in Lagos, Nigeria, and he is signed to KH Records (he is co-CEO and a major stakeholder).[1]
Early life and career
His foray into music in 2009 was greatly influenced and motivated[2] by the desire to continue his grandfather "GENERAL ADEKUNLE's legacy (General Adekunle was a prominent Nigerian juju musician of his time).[3] Kaydex came into the limelight after the release of his debut singles "EGWUEJI" and "TELE MI" (produced by 'Fliptyce') was released in 2015.[4] Following this hit, he released a groundbreaking single titled #HUSTLE (produced by Kriz-beat) and was shot and directed by "Adams-gud" in Kenya.[5]
