Keisuke Kurose (黒瀬圭亮 Kurose Keisuke) is a Japanese metal musician and music composer.
Career[edit]
In 2006, Kurose was a founding member of Japanese symphonic metal project Asriel which started as a doujin music project,[1] later releasing music on labels like 5bp. and PonyCanyon. Several works of Asriel received chart notations in the Japanese music charts.[2][3] Asriel disbanded in 2015.[1] Prior to the formation of Asriel, Kurose was a member of doujin music circle LMINA Sound Arts, better known as AZE:LC.
The same year Asriel broke-up, Kurose started a new musical project called Uroboros.[4] The group, which was only active for a year, released two mini albums and one single. The single, entitled Black Swallowtail was used as one of the ending songs for the TV anime series Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers.[5][6] The releases managed to chart in Japan.[7][8]
Alongside Kachiru Ishizue, a Japanese manga artist and illustrator, Kurose started a new musical project in 2018, called Elfensjón which is described as doujin music circle or creative project. The music is rooted in gothic- and symphonic metal. The duo are supported by several Japanese doujin musicians.[9][10]
Kurose composed the song My Way~この道の先へ~ for the Korean pop-rock band Dreamcatcher which was released on the Japanese album 'The Beginning of the End in 2019.[11]
