Kelachandra Group
The Kelachandra family from Central Kerala was a shareholder in Malabar trading company (1917). K. Joseph and sons of this family moved to Coorg and then Bangalore.[1] They founded the Kelachandra group in 1980.[2] Kelachandra group was one of the proposed developers of the SmartCity Kochi project. [3] The Hilton Bangalore Embassy Golflinks was developed by Kelachandra Group and the Embassy Group. [4] K. J. George, a member of the Kelachandra family, is an MLA from Karnataka. [5]
