Plot[edit]
At the cave, a Phoenix named Dully and a dragon named Drago decide their dragon phoenix mixed creature named Keleth to enroll in a dragon school, phoenix school, or a butterfly which he tells them that he can try out each of the schools at least one day. Next, Dully and Drago drop Keleth off at the Dragon School which he gets bullied by a dragon due to his physical appearance, later during class, the fire breathing teacher Mr. Fuego teaches the class how to breathe, but Keleth volunteers to give it a try which he burns the classroom causing chaos among the students which Mr. Fuego forces him to withdraw from the school. Next, Keleth enrolls at the Butterfly school and attending art class with Ms. Botticelli, a butterfly. Suddenly, Keleth pours the paint in the students that he is kicked out from the school and never comes back again, later Keleth learns how to fly but he is taken away by Mr. Aeropotts the flying teacher which carries him out of the school. Back home, Keleth tells his parents that he is different from the flying creatures so they decided to enroll him in Mrs. Brimsby's school which she tells Dully and Drago to prove the documents so they can enroll Keleth at this new school. Mrs. Brimsby accepts him at this new school. The next day, Dully and Drago say goodbye to Keleth as he heads off to school with new friends which he learns how to breathe fire and finally paints a self portrait of himself.
Production[edit]
In 2016, Faith Butterfield wanted to do an animated short based on her own experiences of segregation due to autism and not being accepted into society which she created the character Keleth based on Larry from Mouse in the House which was originally going to be animated but she decided to change to a different story line. Then did character design, backgrounds, and was animated using Toon Boom Animation during her animation class in college.
