Kelly A. Hyman (born July 20, 1969, Miami Beach, FL)  is an Australian-American attorney, author, political commentator.[1]

Education[edit]

Kelly received a B.A. in Communications from the University of California, Los Angeles and then a MA from Barry University in 2000. From 2000 to 2003, she attended the University of Florida where she obtained a Juris Doctor from Fredric G. Levin College of Law. She was called to bar in year 2004 by the Florida Bar

Career[edit]

During her career in Law, Hyman worked for law firms such as "Kozyak, Tropin & Throckmorton Law Firm", "Podhurst Orseck/Barranco & Kircher" and "Searcy Denney Scarola Barnhart & Shipley, PA". She also served as a law clerk for the U.S. District Court Judge Brian Sandoval, for United States Bankruptcy Judge Robert Mark and for the Judge for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court Wendell Graham.[1] Hyman has worked on high profile cases throughout the country.[2][3]

In 2016, Hyman was President-Elect of the PBC Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Hyman is a TV commentator appearing on ABC, NBC, CBS, BBC, CourtTV and Fox news.[citation needed] In October 2017, she was elected President of the Federal Bar Association in Palm Beach County, Florida.[4]

Kelly Hyman is a member of the Colorado Bar, D.C. Bar, the Florida Bar and the New York Bar.[citation needed]

Show business[edit]

As a professional actress, Hyman appeared in numerous television shows, commercials and Off-Broadway plays. Including appearances on John Astin's TV pilot "Getting There" (1980), on the comedy film Doin' Time on Planet Earth (1988) and on the soap opera The Young and the Restless (1986). For this role she was nominated for a Young Artist Award in 1986 in the category of "Exceptional Performance by a Young Actress in a Daytime Series"[citation needed]
