Kemchain is a Spanish technology company founded in 2023, as Kemchain Solutions, S.L., specialised in the development of solutions based on artificial intelligence (AI) and robotic process automation (RPA) for data management of materials, documents, questionnaires, traceability of raw materials and regulatory compliance in regulated industrial sectors such as cosmetics, food, chemicals, detergents, aromas, fragrances, dyes, rubber, plastics.

History

Kemchain was founded by Germán Castillo, a chemist and chemical engineer with experience in sustainability, technology and regulatory affairs. The company was created with the aim of digitising and automating the document chain of suppliers and raw materials, simplifying the collection, approval and updating of technical and regulatory documents.

In 2024, Kemchain received a grant from the NEOTEC programme of the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), which was a key driver for the development of its proprietary technology.

Technology

Kemchain uses a combination of generative AI, RPA and data mining algorithms to automate tasks such as the validation of data sheets, safety data sheets (SDS), certificates and raw material declarations. It also offers API integrations to connect with third-party ERP systems and document management platforms.
