Kenny Logan was a fictional footballer who appeared in the comic strips in the British boys' comic Roy of the Rovers during the 1970s, 80s. He was a forward, playing for Melchester Rovers. He first appeared in the strip in 1981 and died in 1986.
Career
Logan was a young Scottish starlet who joined the Rovers on the pre-season tour of Scotland in the summer after their relegation from the First Division. Roy was impressed and agreed with his father, Arthur, for him to sign and move to England.
Logan, was a key part of the side that missed Roy Race after he was shot. Used in rotation after the return of Race, Kenny was a regular scorer who never complained at being in and out of the side.
Death
Tragically Logan was killed on 19 July 1986 when eight of the Rovers were innocent victims of a bungled act of terrorism in war-torn Basran.[1][2] Five more players died, between them was Jimmy Slade.
Logan was only 23 when he died.

He played as forward, usually wearing number 10.
