Kent-P (born Novemember, 1993) is an Burundian music video director and commercial director.[2] Kent-P is the CEO and owner of Kora Entertainment, Founder of Empire Avenue and Buja Music Awards.[3] [4][dead link]
He has written and directed music videos for numerous artists including Lolilo, Big Fizzo, Sat-B, Happy Famba[5], Masterland[6], Miss Erica, Best Life Music[7], Ashley Diva, Zabuli, Belle 9ice[8], Bain Turo, Edouce Softman, Dety Darba [9]among others.[10]
Life and career[edit]
Kent-P is a Burundian Top Music Video Director. Born in the year 1993, he is a native of Bujumbura, Burundi.[citation needed]
Kent-P started making videos from the early age of 17, but took it up professionally at age 18 after High school. First Nomination at Bonesha Top Ten Awards as Best Video Director in 2012 with Ikinyamugigima video by Sat-B. Win Video Director of the Year at TV Salam with Freestyle music Video by Sat-B making him the youngest professional music director in Burundi 2013.[citation needed]
"Well I ventured into music video directing because I was a rapper[11] in between this period when I was making viral video contents for friends, I had a strong love for acting, thinking of creative ideas and bringing them to life, I started learning cinematography and editing on YouTube"[citation needed]
Kent-P’s first professional music video was ‘Ikinyamugigima’ by Sat-B in 2012.[12][citation needed]
