Kerry Kirby is an American business executive, philanthropist, and writer who is the incumbent chief executive officer of 365 Connect.[1][2]
Kirby has appeared on BBC, NPR News, and other media outlets as an expert in the housing industry.
He is also the recipient of the 2012 Louisiana Governor's Technology Award.
Early life and education[edit]
Born in New Orleans, United States.[3] Kirby was educated at Tulane University where he graduated in 2001.[4]
Career[edit]
Kirby started his career with a small website he founded in 1995.[5]
In 2003, Kirby founded 365 Connect, a property management software company.[6] The company provides technology solutions to multifamily industry.[7]
In 2005, Kirby was invited on the BBC Digital Planet program, which included exclusive segment on the New Orleans levee system failure in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, and discussed how his company helped to survive the natural disaster.[8]
In 2007 Kirby founded a website named MultifamilyBiz. Kirby also co-hosts a podcast on his website which has received numerous awards.[9]
In 2012, he received Louisiana Governor's Technology Award for his company’s innovation in multifamily industry.[10]
In September 2017, his company, 365 Connect, acquired uCribs, a university apartment search website.[11]
In 2019, Kirby was included on the Silicon Bayou 100 list.[12]
