Kevin Lewis Walker (born 1987) is an American actor, writer, producer, businessman/entrepreneur. Walker is best known for his roles on the televisions shows, Vigilante Diaries (2016), The Young and The Restless (2012), Retail (2014-2015), CSI: Miami (2008), Vigilante Diaries (Tv Series) (2013-2104), and Pope (2017). Walker has founded several businesses but is best known for founding his trademarked company, The Creation Station Studios.[1][2]

Career[edit]

2004-2007: Early Work[edit]

Walker made his first television appearance on comedian Paul Mooney's comedy series, Judge Mooney, in 2004. In 2005 Walker took several years off to focus on his education, eventually graduating from the University of Southern California.[3]

2008-2015: Success in Television and Film[edit]

In 2008 Walker began to further establish himself as a notable television/film star appearing on CSI: Miami, directed by Karen Gaviola. He continued on to appear on Law and Order in 2009, and then he starred in the film, Streets in 2011. He played a young youth from the streets of Los Angeles, who falls victim to a drive by shooting while trying to convince is childhood friend to go further his education and make better life choices.

In 2012 Walker became a recurring cast member on Lifetime's comedy television show, Prank My Mom, which was hosted by Vivica A. Fox. Soon after Walker was cast as a recurring member on CBS's hit daytime soap opera, The Young and The Restless.

In 2013 Walker went on to write, produce, and star in series The Cost of Living, where he played a youth entrepreneur on his quest for success in Los Angeles. The series achieved significant viral success and Walker was soon after cast in the film Love Triangle, as "Justice." He played a young man who witnesses the untimely murder of his father as s child and executes his own street justice on the men responsible when he comes of legal age.

Later in 2013 Walker was offered the main cast member role of, "The Kid," on the television series, Vigilante Diaries (Tv Series). An intelligent lovable rogue, vigilante, and action hero with physical prowess. Walker lead the series opposite Paul Sloan and Jason Mewes. The series received 8 million USD in funding, via Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and William Morris Endeavor,[4] and the series gained media attention for its unique crowdfunding method.[5][6]The television series was exhibited on Machinima Inc. and USA Network.[7]

In 2014 Walker made a special guest appearance on Investigation Discovery's first season of Murder Book, portraying Detroit murder victim Andrew Melvin Weathers.[8][9] Walker ended 2014 and entered 2015 starring in his second self created, written, and produced series, Retail. He led the series opposite actors, Donnabella Mortel, andNoel Gugliemi.[10]

2016-Present: Leading Man Film work[edit]

In 2016 began to further establish himself as a film star, leading man,and notable actor. Walker's went on to star in the military drama, Devil Dogs, opposite actor Eric Roberts.[11] He played a courageous marine that fought during the Second Battle of Fallujah, which is stated to be the bloodiest war since the Vietnam.

Later in 2016 Walker was offered a starring role in the action/drama film, Vigilante Diaries, where he would reprise his role as the young lovable rogue, vigilante, and action hero "The Kid."[12] Walker lead the film opposite actors Michael Jai White, Rampage Jackson, Jason Mewes,[13] Paul Sloan, Chasty Ballesteros, Michael Madsen,[14][15] Chavo Guerrero Jr., and James Russo. The film was internationally distributed by Anchor Bay Entertainment,[3] and exhibited on HBO,[16] iTunes, Vudu, Amazon, YouTube, and Cinemax.[17] The film received a rating of 6.1/10 on IMDB,[18] and a 17% from critics and 77% from users on Rotten Tomatoes.[19]

In 2017 Walker continued his film ascension booking a starring as "Terry" in the gritty Detroit based crime/drama film, Pope. The film co-starred Noel Gugliemi, Glenn Plummer, and Neil Brown Jr..[20] Walker played a pivotal role as an intelligent lovable roque, justified criminal, and loyal leader of a group of Detroit natives, who are ultimately forced to resort to a life of crime to survive and provide for their families, while living in the dangerous ghettos of Detroit. The film received 9.3/10 on IMDB.[21]

In 2017 Walker was also cast as "Reciprocity" in the film VIKES. He played a streetwise lovable rogue that helps a good hearted young kid (played by Aidan Alexander)[22] deal confront and overcome a group of bullies.

Walker can be seen starring in commercials for brands such as Xploderz, Ford[23], Levi's, Disney Vinylmation[24], and most recently in a commercial for Samsung's Bixby (virtual assistant).[25]
