Earl Albert Moore
Earl Albert Moore is a homegrown terrorist. On April 20, 2011, Moore left a destructive device at the Southwest Plaza Mall in Jefferson County, Colorado, United States, just South of Denver, in effort to kill dozens of innocents. The attempt was made in the wake of the 12th anniversary of the Columbine High School tragedy of 1999.[1] The ATF-Bureau, the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force, as well as the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office immediately initiated an investigation, that identified Moore as the person responsible for the assembling and leaving the destructive device.
On April 5, 2012, Moore was sentenced under federal charges to life in Prison.[2]
