History
KeyCDN was founded in 2012 by Jonas Krummenacher and Sven Baumgartner. In 2014 support for SPDY was released. The following year support for HTTP/2, the succeeding network protocol, was released.[3]

KeyCDN supports open source projects, including Meteor and FreeNAS, by providing free content delivery.[5]
