Kfir Amos (born 1982) is an entrepreneur and travel blogger known for his uniqueness places that he visited around the world .
Early life[edit]
Amos was born on January 31st, 1982 in Afula, Israel. He graduated from "Ort" Tech and Art school in 2000, Afula and then joined the Israel Defense Forces as a tech support.
Travel and career[edit]
After completing his military service in 2003, Kfir began travelling. His first destination was Thailand. He stopped at Bangkok where he found a job at a local restaurant for tourists that allowed him to work part time during the week. Part time job gave him the opportunity to rent an apartment and also some free time for sightseeing. After the month in Bangkok he decided to earn more money to travel. Amos started working for a travel agency. After almost 48 hours on the road to the exotic beaches, he arrived to Ko Phi Phi island where he settled for two months. Amos noticed that people liked his photos and sketches about Thailand. After these two months Kfir returned to Israel and started working as a sales manager to earn enough money to visit popular touristic places. After 8 months Kfir left his job and sought to make a living from travelling full time. Since this moment Amos has been travelling and discovering new places to visit. The first country he visited was Vietnam. In 2005 he crossed North Vietnam and South Vietnam - a trip that began in Saigon and stopped a few months earlier than expected on the Phu Quoc Island. Due to the fact that he got Dengue fever he was hospitalized at the Diamond hospital in Saigon, his condition was life-threatening. After a week of hospitalization, Amos continued his travels over Vietnam for two more months.
In 2006 he flew to Philippines, where he continued his journeys in Asia, from there he flew to Burma and Cambodia. He flew to Europe in 2007 and he did the following countries: Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and France. After two years of traveling in Europe Amos decided to visit United States and he started there a trip which included California, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Yosemite National Park, Oregon and Seattle. From there he moved to Canada and ended this trip in Alaska.
In 2016 Amos decided to earn money for living from travelling full time. He started being a travel planner for private customers. This job includes coordinating / booking flights, building a route trip with special and unique attractions.
In 2017 Amos started publishing a blog named “ Traveling W Style" where he represented all the information about his trips. Blog includes information about Kfir's trips to China,Japan, Thailand, Maldives, the United States and Mexico. Kfir added travelling guides, reviews of hotels, sketches and photos of all the places he visited to the blog.
