Khaie is a 2024 Pakistani Action thriller television series directed by Syed Wajahat Hussain. Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi produced the series and written by Saqlain Abbas.It stars Faysal Quraishi and Durefishan Saleem[3] in leading roles.The series first premiered on January 3, 2024 on Geo Entertainment.[4][5][6]
Premise[edit]
The narrative unfolds as a tale of vengeance within the ancient tradition of Khaie, where the male members of an enemy's family are eradicated to halt the continuation of their lineage. Darwesh Khan (Noor ul Hassan), haunted by his father's murder at the hands of Duraab Khan (Khalid Butt), endeavors to forge a truce to end the age-old vendetta. However, suspicions arise, casting doubt on Darwesh's intentions for peace, leading to tragic events during a celebration at Darwesh's home and inflicting immense suffering upon Zamdaa (Durefishan Saleem) and her family.[7]

Production[edit]
In July 2023, it was reported that Faysal Quraishi and Durefishan Saleem will play the lead roles in 7th Sky Entertainment upcoming project which will be directed by Syed Wajahat Hussain and written by Saqlain Abbas.[9][10] The first look for the series revealed on 11 December 2023 from the Geo Entertainment and the first episode broadcast on 3 January 2024 on the same network.
