Khaled Abouemara
Khaled Abouemara (born in Doha) is an Egyptian expert in sustainable development.[1][2] He is also an engineer, innovator, entrepreneur, and investor. Before 2005, he earned his first gold medal published in the Arab Radio and Television Network (ART).[3]
He serves as a mentor and business development director for startups registered with Qatar University Holding Company. He is responsible for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Projects at the Office of the President of Qatar University.[4] Additionally, he is the project manager for the National Entrepreneurship Competition Al Fikra for higher education, a joint project between Qatar University and the Qatar Development Bank. Furthermore, he is a board member of SIA British, a British school established in 2017[5], Deputy CEO of the AKKM Group[6], and Founder and board member of Royal Motors.
Early life
Khaled Abouemara was born on April 1, 1996, in Doha, Qatar. He comes from a family of two children, a girl and a boy, Khaled. He won his first gold medal published in the Arab Radio and Television Network (ART) and continued to be recognized at his university for his intelligence. He has lived in Qatar.[1]
Career
He began his career as a lecturer, trainer, and Chief Business Development Officer for startups registered under Qatar University Holding Company. He mentored and coached more than fifty technology startups. He served as a mentor for various innovation programs and as a judge for multiple demo days for SIEED programs and colleges within Qatar University. Khaled is also a sustainable development expert with a focus on sustainable energy development.[7]
He became the Project Manager of the Al Fikra National Entrepreneurship Competition for Higher Education, a joint project between Qatar University and the Qatar Development Bank.[8]
Within the office of the President of Qatar University, Khaled is the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Projects Manager at the SIEED Office (Strategic Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Economic Development).[9] The Office of Strategic Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Economic Development (SIEED) was established as part of the Qatar University Transformation Strategy 2018-2022 and the Qatar National Vision 2030.[10]
Khaled served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Royal Motors, WLL. for more than two years, then transitioned to a strategic advisory role, fostering a positive and collaborative business environment. Additionally, he provided advice on potential business expansion opportunities and diversification strategies.
He is Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of AKKM Group.
