Khaled Edward Blair (né Edward Blair) was born in London, England in 1975, to Douglas Blair Q.C. and his wife Diana Blair.[1][2]
Education[edit]
Career[edit]
After studying Law at The College of Law, he qualified as a barrister in 1998, being called to the Bar at Lincoln's Inn. He currently works for an investment bank in the City of London.[1]
Personal life[edit]
Blair converted to Islam in May 2004, taking the pre name Khaled.[1] He was engaged to Princess Badiya bint El Hassan in September 2004 and married her in Amman in June 2005.[3][4] His father-in-law is Prince Hassan bin Talal (brother of the late King Hussein of Jordan) and his mother-in-law is Princess Sarvath El Hassan.[5]
