Khalil Haliru[1] (born 29 October 1990) is a Nigerian-born entrepreneur, youth advocate as well as businessman.

Early life[edit]

He has formal al education, Khalil has bagged various certifications in Oracle Database Programming 10G from the National Institute for Information Technology and; Data Base Administration, Big Data & E-Commerce from Africa Infotech Digital and is skilled in ICT Solution Architecture, BlockChain technology, Sage Accounting, Social Commerce, Mobile Solutions, Crypto Currency, Reputation Management System, Operation & Logistics Management System, Java Programming, Online Security & Fraud, Coreldraw, Photoshop.[2]

Later life and career[edit]

Khalil is the CEO of OyaOya, and he became an experimental lab for where technology products such as OyaOya Driven by passion for technology.[3][4] In 2014 Khalil began the process of reviving a dormant family company Khash Strategic Services LTD and transformed it to a technology company providing range of services and disruptive solutions in the high tech space.[5] KHASH also became an experimental lab for Khalil where technology products such as OyaOya Strategic Services and ShapShap Logistics.[6] OyaOya like the name implies in the Nigerian Pidgin context, is an on-demand app that is designed on a user-friendly platform to connect commodity traders in an ecosystem that is both fast and efficient.[7] Also, ShapShap is one of very few, last-mile logistics and on-demand platforms in Africa, which caters to personal and Business logistic needs.[8]  As an app, it connects clients,[9] SMEs and dispatch riders enabling flexible choices with an option of insurance cover on the goods to be delivered.  The app aims to encourage SME’s and bridge the gap between businesses and the unbanked people of Africa.[10]
