Khancha (Bengali: খাঁচা) is an upcoming Indian Bengali-language action thriller film written and directed by Anirban Chakraborty and produced by Dr. Prabir Bhowmik under the banner of Swabhumi Entertainment. It stars Mrinmoy Das (popularly known as Cinebap) in the lead role, with Pratyusha Paul, Rajatava Dutta, Mir Afsar Ali, Kanchana Moitra, Sonalee Chaudhuri and Krishna Banerjee in supporting roles. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on 6 February 2026.[1]
Plot
The story centers on Tiaban, a seemingly peaceful village where a human trafficking ring operates under the guise of labour transport business. The gang abducts young women, drawing the local resident Kamalesh into a fight against the criminals when his sister is taken and his mother goes missing while protesting.[2]

Production
The film marks one of the major commercial projects featuring internet personality Mrinmoy Das (Cinebap) in his lead film debut. Director Anirban Chakraborty previously worked on critically noted films and collaborates again with producer Dr. Prabir Bhowmik for this project.[4]

Khancha is scheduled for a theatrical release on 6 February 2026 in India.[5]
