Khel Now or KhelNow.com is an online sports & media engagement platform headquartered in Delhi, India, and is run by Singapore-based, Agnificent Platform Technologies Pte Ltd.[1] The crowd-managed platform connects fans with teams, players & businesses using information, networking, expert opinions and ratings location-specific to users.[2][3] Khel Now was founded in April 2014 by Silicon Valley-based entrepreneurs John Lee and Dhruv Ratra, and was launched in July 2016.[4]

Anglian Omega Network[edit]
The first major funding of the startup worth $350,000 was raised in the seed round on 21 September 2016 from Anglian Omega Network.[5][6] The investors introduced Sandeep Narang in an advisory role in the startup.[7][8]
Indochine International[edit]
On 23 January 2017, it was announced that Thailand-based Indochine International Co. Ltd. has invested $500,000 into the company.[9][10] Additional sports like tennis, basketball, badminton and Muay Thai were added on the APT run site.
Later on 6 March 2020, Khel Now launched its operations in Thailand thereby expanding its global reach to Southeast Asia.[11] The startup's Thai vertical, PlayNowThailand.com delivers content on Thai football as well as local popular sports like track & field, golf, kickboxing in the native Thai language.[12]
