Khristian Robert Mizzi is an Australian musician who grew up in Moe, Victoria.[2] He is a singer, songwriter, and performer based in Melbourne. Mizzi was short listed for an Australian Music Prize in 2010.[3][better source needed] Early in 2008 Mizzi released a solo album, The Road Between, which received high rotation on ABC radio.[4]
On lead vocals and guitar, he formed Khristian Mizzi and the Sirens in 2005, with Tristan Hope on drums and percussion, Jessica Moussi on harmony vocals, Frank Pearce on bass guitar and backing vocals, and Dan Sheahan on keyboards and piano.[5][6] The group's debut album, A Beautiful World appeared in 2009 and in the following year they toured Canada.[6]
On 7 August 2014 they launched their next album, Midwinter Spring.[7] He followed with a tour of the east coast of Australia.[7]
