Kiirya Moses, (Born February 23,1992), Better known by his stage name Kiirya Beats is a Ugandan music producer, Musician, sound engineer, online beat maker and entrepreneur. He is the founder of Verscope Records located in nsambya, Kampala. He has worked with most of East Africa's top artists including Willy Paul, Mejja, Spice Diana and many more.[1]

Career[edit]

Kiirya Beats was inspired by his mother who was the church choir singer and after joining school where he met a lot of friends and they participated in school singing competitions.

In 2008 he met with two friends named Muhindo Romano and Alinaitwe Ronald they started music practice, singing and production as time went by he met with another friend called Tomusange Yusuf and in 2012 he formed a record label with him called verscope records were he used to make deals with independent musicians. Kiirya Beats worked with bands such as Uganda police jazz band and later in 2014 he started a youtube channel where he was giving out free instrumentals and music business tips that found success and he featured on East African Televisions channels that include NTV Kenya, Urban TV Uganda, Spark TV, Bukedde TV and many more.

He is also known for working with artists like Willy Paul of Kenya, Mejja Genge of kenya, Yung Baller of United States, Mr Straight of Jamaica, Chika, Lizy Kurdz and many more.[2][3]

Early Life[edit]

He was raised by both of his parents and later separated at an early age that led kiirya beats to end up selling food staffs on the streets of kampala at the age of 12. The last born of ten siblings attended nakivubo settlement primary school for his primary and then later joined Kyema vocational training institute where he learnt motor vehicle technology maintenance and repair and driving, after spending two years working as a mechanic in agaba and sons motor garage masindi he later joined Kinyara Sugar Works Limited and worked there as a track driver for a year.[4]
