Kiberu Joshua commonly known as Yesse Oman Rafiki is a Ugandan songwriter and music producer.[1] He is the CEO of Writer's Room Records in Makindye,[2] Kampala.[3] He has worked with most of Uganda's top musicians including Bebe Cool, Winnie Nwagi, Prince Omar, and many more.[4]
Career[edit]
Yese started songwriting in 2005 when he wrote a song titled "Lumbasse" for Keisha Mirembe. In 2015 he wrote Kabulengane for Bebe Cool[5][6]
Personal life[edit]
Yese was born in Makindye and raised in a Christian family. He attended St James SS, St. Charles Lwanga Kasasa, Nalya Secondary School and completed his education at Makerere University Business School graduating with a Bachelor in Business Computing.[7][8][9]
