Terri "Missy" Leann Bevers was killed inside the Creekside Church of Christ in Midlothian, Texas April 18th, 2016. The case remains unsolved.[1][2][3]

Missy Bevers arrived at the Creekside Church of Christ at 4 a.m. on April 18th 2016 to prepare for the fitness class she was holding that morning. An hour later several of her students found her dead. It is believed that Bevers was only in the church for moments before she met her killer.[3]
Video[edit]
Police have released surveillance footage from the Church showing the killer walking through the Church holding a hammer. The hammer was found to be consistent with Missy Bever's wounds. The suspect is shown breaking windows and going through offices. They are wearing a black helmet, black boots, black gloves, and a black vest with Police in white lettering on the front and back. Their walking gait is very distinct. Their feet are turned outwards, and it has been theorized that they could be wearing shoes that are too large for them[4]. Police estimate that the person caught on tape is 5'8" plus or minus an inch. They originally stated that the suspect was male, but they have since stated the suspect may be of either gender. [1][5]
