Kim Chae-yeon (born December 4, 2004), known professionally as Chaeyeon, is a South Korean singer, actor, model, and television host. She is a member of the South Korean girl group Busters.
Life and career[edit]
2013–2017: Early life and career beginnings[edit]
Chaeyeon was born Kim Chae-yeon on December 4, 2004 in Seoul, South Korea. [1] Chaeyeon lived a regular childhood until she was casted off the streets in 2nd grade and eventually joined the kids' idol group CutieL in 2014.[2] Throughout her time in CutieL, Chaeyeon acted in many dramas and films. [3] In 2016, Chaeyeon became one of the 10 candidates for a new girl group who would be the stars of their own TV show Idol Ranger PowerBusters.[4] In June of 2017, Chaeyeon was selected as one of the 5 final members of Busters and made her unofficial debut at the NVR (Next Virtual Reality) 2017 Conference. [5] In November of the same year, Busters made their debut with the single album Dream On.[6]
2017–present: Solo activities[edit]
After her debut with Busters, Chaeyeon has continued to be active in the film industry, hosting TV shows such as the popular kids' show Tok! Tok! BoniHani and acting in the popular web drama 'My YouTube Diary' as Hera.[7] Additionally, she became the representative of the studying app "MilkT" in the spring of 2019. [8]
