Kim Seung-hun (Korean: 김승훈, also known by the mononym Seunghun (Korean: 승훈), is a member of the boy group CIX. He is a South Korean singer and actor.
Early life[edit]
Seunghun was born in Cheongju, South Korea. He attended Hanlim Multi Art School.
Career[edit]
Pre-debut[edit]
Prior to his debut, Seunghun became a trainee in 4th grade and trained for more than 9 years before his debut.[1]
While training under YG Entertainment, Seunghun made an appearance on Mnet's survival reality show Stray Kids along with other YG Entertainment trainees. [2]
In November 2018, Seunghun along with BX paticipated in the reality survival program, YG Treasure Box, to compete among 29 trainees for a spot in YG entertainment's new boy group. While seunghun garnered praise from the public, he got eliminated in episode 9, but was brought back for the show's finale, but both BX and Seunghun did not make the final lineup.[3]
2019–present: Debut with CIX and solo activities[edit]
On March 5, 2019, Seunghun was revealed as the second member of C9 entertainment's new boy band CIX.[4]The group officially debuted on July 23, 2019 with the track "Movie Star" from their debut mini album Hello Chapter 1: Hello, Stranger.[5]
In September 2020, it was announced that Seunghun will make his acting debut as the main lead in the digital movie Turn: the Street.[6]
