Kimberly Ndombe

Kimberly Ndombe is an American television writer and activist. She is best known for writing on The Fosters, Good Trouble, Sorry For Your Loss, and Raising Dion.[1]

Life and work[edit]

Ndombe attended Syracuse University, where she was a Remembrance Scholar in the College of Arts and Sciences.[2]

Ndombe began her television writing career with an episode of the Freeform family drama series The Fosters before becoming a staff writer on its spin-off Good Trouble. She went on to write for Facebook Watch's Sorry For Your Loss and Netflix's Raising Dion.[1] Ndombe has been outspoken about tokenization and body positivity representation in writers' rooms.[3] After the death of George Floyd, she joined over 300 Black artists and executives calling for Hollywood to divest from police and joined the Black Lives Matter protests in Los Angeles.[4][5]
