Kinetico Incorporated manufactures and sells residential and commercial water treatment systems, including water softeners, reverse osmosis filtration systems, and other water filtration devices for residential and commercial use.[2] Kinetico is headquartered in Newbury, Ohio,[3] with additional offices and facilities in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, France, Germany and Denmark.[1] It offers products through a network of independent dealers and international distributors, representing nearly 100 countries.[3] Kinetico is the official water sponsor of the Indiana Pacers.

Kinetico was founded in 1970 by Bill Prior and Jim Kewley.[4] On April 20, 2006, Kinetico Incorporated was acquired by Axel Johnson Inc., of which it now operates as a subsidiary.[5][6]

Products[edit]

Kinetico manufactures and sells various water treatment equipment, including water softeners, reverse osmosis filtration systems, and other water filtration devices for residential and commercial use. Several Kinetico products have been tested and certified by NSF International and the Water Quality Association.[7] In 2012, Kinetico's 2030s, 2060s, and 2100s water softeners were recognized as a "Best Buy" by Consumer's Digest.[8]
