King started his main channel, Plainrock124 on August 24, 2011. His first video was entitled "%@#! You Poptropica!", where he complained about the online role-playing game Poptropica scamming him. Some of his videos that he uploaded were videos that he made for his school's student council, such as Welcome to High School. Although, he also posted original content as well, such as his series "I Hate..." where he would rant about stuff that he hated. His most popular video in this series is "I HATE PAPER MARIO COLOR SPLASH." He currently has over 260,000 subscribers and over 40,000,000 views on his channel.
King started a vlog channel in January of 2015. On the channel for a while, he would make an occasional vlog-style video. However, in May 2017, he made a video called "AMIIBO HUNTING IS DANGEROUS," where he would go hunting for Amiibo at stores. Because this video did very well for his channel, gaining over 400,000 views, he decided that he would sometimes change his vlog channel into a toy channel called "PlainrockToyz." He did similar videos were he would hunt for Mario Pins, Animal Crossing Cards, and other video game related items. He also collects vintage macs and shows them off in a series on his channel. His vlog channel currently has over 100,000 subscribers and is growing very quickly.
Bored Smashing is King's most well-known series. In this series, he smashes technology. A trend in this series is smashing cheap phones that he found at Grocery Stores. However, he also has smashed a Wii U, which is the most popular video in the series. Other tech like laptops and tablets are also smashed.
50 Ways to Break...
In this series, King creates a sketch-style video where he lists 50 comedic ways to break a piece of technology. His most popular video in this series, also being his most popular video on his channel, is 50 Ways to Break a Nintendo Switch. The video has over 4,000,000 views, and almost 40,000 likes and over 16,000 dislikes. Liang described the 16,000 people who disliked the video as clueless kids who thought he broke 50 different Nintendo Switches, and kids who were angry that he destroyed a Switch. In 50 Ways to Break, he has also done a video with a laptop, phones, and a MacBook.
