Kingdom Shader is a graphics engine developed by Square Enix to power the game Kingdom Hearts III. The engine's name is not final and is currently unofficial, however, it is currently the name that the developers are using to represent the cel-shaded graphics of Kingdom Hearts III for the next-generation of consoles. The engine was shown off at E3 2013.

Director Tetsuya Nomura has stated that the engine is an 'Attempt to express Disney 2D brushwork in 3D'.[1]
